K-powered 2001 civic coupe

This will be our first k-swap for this model of civic, and up to now, we know the motor will have around 220 hp and 160 tq, as it was in his dads car last year.Pierre has donated his old k motor buildup to his son to replace the old turbo 1.7 si motor that kept on blowing up.The Hasport mounts fit just right, now we will finish the rest of the mods and keep the updates coming as they get done. The car should be done within 2 more weeks.

Update:the car is running now and just needs to be dyno tuned, the job was very long and here are some of the details.K20a2 motor that previously had 223/159 with a euro spec type R transmission fitted into a 5-speed housing with a clutchmaster clutch kit.Hasport mount kit and Hybrid racing wiring harness(thanks to the speedy service of Will), D/C sport race header and custom 2.5 inch exhaust (done by Rawtek). The power steering was quite a job, as it was never ending to install all the necessary components, and most of the power steering piping is located behind the rad. Also we did not have a type S power steering high pressure hose so instead of paying a few hundred dollard for a new one we welded the portion of the type S hose we had to the portion of the stock civic hose that was on the car.The Hybrid Racing harness needed some refining with plugs and an addition of a fan sender wire and sending unit at the rad.All in all this swap would cost any owner $2000.00 of labor plus all necessary parts. The type S motor craddle is also very costly and not that easy to locate used.New dyno will be up soon
